Need a hand?

Lachlan blocks your apps. He’s not supposed to block your day. If something’s wrong, email support@ndenterprisesllc.com and a real person will get back to you.

Getting started

What does Lachlan actually do?

You pick the apps that eat your time and the hours you want them gone. When that window hits, those apps stop opening. To get back in early, you have to open Lachlan and make your case to him.

He’ll let you in eventually. That’s the point — he’s friction, not a vault. He just makes sure you decided to open Instagram instead of your thumb deciding for you.

Why does Lachlan need Screen Time permission?

Blocking apps on iOS is only possible through Apple’s Screen Time system, and it needs your permission. Without it, Lachlan can’t block anything.

Granting it doesn’t give us visibility into your phone. Apple’s API hands us opaque tokens— we can’t see which apps you picked, and we can’t see what you do in them. Details in the privacy policy.

What devices does Lachlan work on?

Lachlan requires iOS 26.5 or later.

The AI mascot runs entirely on your device using Apple Intelligence, which needs an iPhone 15 Pro or later. On an iPhone that doesn’t support Apple Intelligence, the mascot won’t be able to talk to you.

Not sure? Settings → General → About shows your model and iOS version.

Blocking

I set a schedule but nothing got blocked

Almost always one of these:

  1. Screen Time permission was declined or revoked. Check Settings → Screen Time and confirm Lachlan still has access.
  2. No apps are selected in that schedule. Open the schedule and confirm your picks are still there.
  3. The schedule isn’t active today. Check the weekdays on it.

How do I unlock an app early?

Open Lachlan and tap the app you’re trying to get into. He’ll ask you why. Answer him honestly — he’s better at spotting nonsense than you’d like.

You don’t need notifications for this. The unlock always happens inside the app.

Can I get around the block if I really need to?

Yes — and that’s by design. iOS always lets you revoke Screen Time permission or delete the app, and no blocker can prevent that.

Lachlan isn’t trying to be unbreakable. He’s trying to put enough of a speed bump between you and the scroll that you notice you’re doing it. If you genuinely need in, you’ll get in. He’d just like you to mean it.

Lachlan is being mean to me

He’s rooting for you. He’s just bad at being gentle about it.

That said, he should never be cruel, and he should never punch down. If he says something that crosses a line, please email us the screenshot — we take that seriously and want to fix it.

Notifications

What notifications will I get?

One: a heads-up five minutes before a block starts, so you’re not caught mid-scroll.

They’re optional, they’re generated on your device, and they’re not required to unlock anything. Turn them off in Settings → Notifications → Lachlan and everything still works.

Subscription & billing

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

In Lachlan, go to the subscription section and open the customer center — you can manage or cancel from there.

You can also cancel anywhere Apple subscriptions live: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions.

Cancelling stops future charges and keeps your access until the end of the period you already paid for.

I paid but don’t have access

Try Restore Purchases in Lachlan first — this fixes it most of the time, especially on a new device.

If it doesn’t, email support@ndenterprisesllc.com from the Apple ID address you purchased with and we’ll sort it out.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

If something about Lachlan is broken, tell us anyway — we’d rather fix it than have you leave quietly.

Privacy & your data

What do you know about me?

Essentially nothing. There’s no account and no server. Your name, age, and your reason for cutting back live on your phone. Your conversations with Lachlan are generated on your phone and stay there. We don’t use analytics or crash reporting.

Full detail in the privacy policy.

How do I delete my data?

Reset in-app to clear your profile, unlock history, and Lachlan’s mood. Or delete the app — that removes everything permanently.

You don’t need to ask us to delete anything. We don’t have it.
